Beachfront Bungalows on Koh Lanta's Shoreline
Accommodations
Breizh Cape Beach Bungalows has 14 bungalows, each renovated 25-year-old wooden huts with a fan or air-conditioning. The bungalows sit on the front beach or in the garden, with private bathrooms, hammocks, and outdoor furniture. Options include the Bungalow with Sea View and the Bungalow - Beach Front, both directly on the sand.
Dining
The beachfront restaurant serves Thai cuisine, including a local Thai seafood barbecue during the high season (October to April). Guests also find curries and unique Breton specialties on the menu. From April 15 to October 15, the beach front restaurant and bar are mainly closed, with occasional openings based on occupancy.
Activities
The hotel offers scuba diving and snorkeling trips, fishing, island-hopping tours, kayaking, hiking, and bicycle rental. Guests can also use the free canoeing and join happy hour, live music performances, and hiking tours. In low season (April to October), many activities are unavailable due to weather and sea conditions.
Location
The bungalows sit directly on a quiet beach, with access to Secret Beach and Beautiful Beach within walking distance. Saladan's main town is a 15-minute drive, and Krabi airport is less than 2 hours away. Shops and exchange offices are on the main street nearby.
Important Notes
On Friday and Saturday evenings, a neighboring bar plays drum and bass until 2:00-3:00 AM; earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. Smoking weed or other drugs is strictly forbidden on the property, with bookings subject to cancellation. The hotel provides valet parking, car hire, and a tour desk.
